Mt Maria College Petrie students will hold a free dress day to support sick kids at Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital.
The Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital is the largest specialist paediatric hospital in Queensland. With thirteen inpatient wards and numerous outpatient areas, the hospital cares for children and their families from all over the state and Northern NSW.
Two Mt Maria College, Petrie year 9 Students Haylee and Caitlin, have initiated a special fundraising day on Friday 1 September. The entire college community is invited to get involved.
Students and teachers can wear free dress in exchange for a donation. Donations include: a gold coin, new clothing, toys, books, colouring pencils and reading or activity books.
Mt Maria College, Petrie Campus Minister, Mrs Theresa Duke and students will visit the hospital on Monday 4 September to deliver all good and funds donated.
